You have worn those buttons on your remote out. Those are you most used buttons. You can have you remote repaired by pros here. You can buy a new Sony RM-YD035 here. Or you can purchase the keypad repair kit here and fix it yourself.

If Sony Remote RM-YD035 does not change channels or turn off TV the buttons got dirty coz those are your most used buttons. You can repair Sony Remote RM-YD035 yourself. It's quite easy and fast, with perfect result! To disassemble or open the remote control Sony RM-YD035, first remove a single screw in the battery compartment. Then use a very thin but strong screwdriver and insert it between top cover and the body at the back part of the battery compartment. Move the screwdriver up and down and slowly move it to the left and to the right and continue along the perimeter. Use two or three such screwdrivers and in 2-4 minutes the top cover plate with buttons will separate from the body/bottom/casing. Clean both parts thoroughly. And then genlty put them back together and push tuwords each other. The parts will snap closing. You are done. Mine is now working perfectly

Codes for Vizio 32f G4 TV from Sony remote RM yd010

Hi,

please check whether the sony remote code book includes vizio as a category. If not, then the two devices are not compatible and you'll need to call vizio to figure out which remotes are compatible with your tv and then choose from that list before programming the new remote to your tv.

Thank you

I have an sony rm-ez2 and i want it to work with my orion Model #tv1934 whats the code or will it work

As far as I can tell, Sony doesn't have any codes for Orion TVs. You can try searching through all of the codes in the remote. Turn on the TV, press and hold the Set button and then press the Power button. Release the buttons. Then press TV button (component button). Press the CH+ button followed by the Power button. Repeat the CH+ and Power combination until the TV responds (powers off, changes channel). Then press ENT. Check if the TV responds to the remote on other functions. If it doesn't repeat the steps from press and hold the Set button.
This can take up to 70 tries.

Alternatively, try a replacement remote for the TV or a USB programmable universal remote. http://www.remotes.com/store/orion/tv1934.html is a substitute remote that should handle all of the functions.

I hope this helps.

TV Turns on for 3 sec.then turns off Remote RM-Y914,I know it's the remotecontrol

Hi, Its pretty unlikely to be the remote control but more likely a protection circuit in the TV activating causing shutdown. you can prove this by taking a battery out of the remote, hiding the remote under a pillow, etc and then turning the tv on.
If the set is in standby - simply press a channel button on the TV and it should start

Need Dish DVR ViP722 remote code.

If you are looking to have the Dish remote operate your TV, just do a random search for your tv. First, hold down the tv button on the dish remote until all the rest of the light up. Next press the tvpower button on the dish remote. Next, press the channel up button (this is the up arrow button) until the set turns off. When it does turn off, press the # key at the bottom right of the remote. The tv button will light and flash twice. That's it. Your done. Hope this helps.

RM-AV2100

Either the channel up and down buttons have both broken (unlikely) or everything else is working except the remote is not telling the device you are controlling to change the channel up or down.

Since all the other buttons are working well, that also requires that the receiving end of the pair to be working well, thus ruling out problems on that end.

Solution: Reprogram your remote to support the appropriate channel up/down codes for your TV/Tuner in question.
