Acer Aspire 9300 1 long and 2 short beeps

When i try to turn on my Acer Aspire 9300, i have black screen and 1 long and 2 short beeps,but whan i put out ram memory i only have black screen withuot beeps

Have the same problem and i solved it after 1 month tries
the problem was in NVIDIA Graphic card
the solution was by by heating the NVIDIA Graphic card for 5 min or more

I have been fixing computers that has long beeps and short ones. It is usually attributed to memory problem connection. Open the memory compartment at the back of the PC then detach the memory card. Clean with cloth softly enough not to destroy the circuit board or a pencil eraser to clean-up dust that caused the connection blockade. Reconnect after cleaning.

My acer aspire 9300 have beep code: 1 long and 2 short in start up..
This beep code is -

one long, two short beeps
  • System board failure
  • Video adapter problem
  • LCD assembly failure

This is most likely a video problem.
Try re-seating the RAM, the video RAM is shared, uses part of the main RAM.
Also try restoring the BIOS setting back to the default settings.

1 long and 2 short - indicates avideo error has occurred and the BIOS cannot initialize the video screen todisplay any additional information, Verify your video card.

If you view the screen at a sharp angle after the computer has booted up and you see a dim Windows image, then you have a backlight problem. This problem could be caused by a faulty inverter board which supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or the CCFL lamp could be faulty.

Laoptop: remove the battary & the power plug
Desk top: remove the power plug

Hold the power button for 60 seconds
