When receiving a message from a certain person, the text message is jumbled. The first part of the message is the most recent one and then the second half may be from a text that I received days or weeks before. Is there any solution for this problem and has anybody else been experiencing this problem too?

In T630 go to Message>Text>Options>Service Centres>Sellect>Edit, Then edit the no frm someone having the same Network. It will Work!

Yes, you will need to send a text to your operator (O2, Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile etc.) to get your MMS and other settings.
You should be able to obtain the number from the operator's website by searching for "Get Settings".

The MMS settings provided by your network service provider don't all work with each other. Some are compatible with your network some are not, if it's not, you get a msg giving you the URL where you can pick up your pics.
Also the pic taken on a particular format ie. Sony Ericsson w810i sent to a Nokia 1100, wont work because one phone has a large colour screen the other has a B/W small screen, so the Nokia 1100 would not be able to open the file.
