How do I fix my stove and light and fan?

I have a Hotpoint UQ471 MK2 stove with hood incorporating light and extractor fan. When I switched on the fan, there was a loud bang and a flash and now neither the stove nor the light nor the fan will work.

SOURCE: Bosch Extractor Fan model DKE945DGB

One way to check is to track down a schematic of the parts. That will often give you a good idea of there the part attaches and how.

SOURCE: fan blades or motor in Nucor over the stove hood

The FR Series fans from Fantech are glued closed to prevent air leakage. Its better to replace the fan than to try and fix it. The cheapest place to buy a Fantech fan is at http:///www.hvacquick.com as they buy direct from Fantech.
Alos the FR Series fan comes with a 5 Year Manufactures warranty.

SOURCE: bosch dke 935 90cm hood. light and extractor not working

The fuse will be located in the switch or socket that the hood is connected to. This is sometimes inside the flue on the back wall. There should be two small screws either side of the chimney located at the top, unscrew and slide one part of the chimney down, please be careful as stainless steel has very sharp edges.

Where are the fuses in a Victoriana Deluxe Leisure cooker? The extractor fan and light have stopped working

It would be fused to the house current most likely through a circuit breaker on your service box.

Wireing a bathroom extractor fan to a three switch (fan=landing light=offswitch0

yes, if the three switches are all made together, then there is only one feed. sounds like a bad switch, or possibly bad exhaust fan. check voltage at fan with switch on, if not qualified, be careful, or call an electrician
