I've had a LDP-400 128Mb for a while, but haven't used it in about six months. Today I've plugged it into my iBook and it isn't recognised - at all. I've tried both USB ports, and I've tried using an extension and nothing still. HELP!!
The screen on the LDP-400 lights up in the usual manner (the little picture of a monitor and the LDP with a cable in between) but nothing shows up on my Mac at all. Zip. No removable drive, no nothing. If I pull it out I don't get the "you've removed a USB device without ejecting" message.
I've been to the Lexar site and can't find drivers anywhere for any Lexar LDP, or any MP3 player for that matter - not even any references anywhere that say Lexar make such a product. I've done a search and on the site and only found media releases about the LDP-400. I've Googled "ldp-400 driver" and all I get is two links to the same porn site. This is what happens when I plug it in:

What do you mean by not reconized?
Does it still show up when you plug it in and just tell you its not reconized? or does it just not show anything at all?
If it comes up then I suggest going to Lexars website and downloading the drivers for your LPD-400 so your computer will be able to interact with it...make sure its the mac drivers.

Check you power settings. It is possible that it is set to shut down at 50% battery power.
If it is overheating, that too will cause a shutdown. What is happening at the time of shut down? Are the vents on the laptop being blocked in any way?
Hardware failure of the motherboard - most likely something went wrong with the northbridge.
The repair will cost way more than it's worth, this laptop is effectively dead, time for a new one
97% isn't that bad, it means that your battery is fully charged but not the whole way. That is bound to happen specially when youre using youre battery a lot. It will get a lot more lesser in the future the more you use youre battery.
The standard laptop battery starts losing the ability to hold a charge after 300 recharges or cycles. If you drain your battery almost completely at least once a month and then recharge it, it will last longer & hold a full charge longer.
I think the problem is your battery pack..or to make sure contact a reliable and skilled computer technician handling the trouble personally is much better to make sure it will be fixed in no time..
You have disabled wi-fi so it is asking whether you wish to use Phone Data Connection instead. (Standard Practice when trying to access data services)
What you need to do is un-tick the option in options Use only 2g networks. (3g is the mobile data service) That should then allow you to access Mobile Data. (3g)
I had that problem, too and solved it by plugging my IPAD into my computer and updating it's software through ITunes...there have been a couple of updates in the last month and doing this solved my problem.
You first have to make sure you have the latest ITunes update and then it should find the software for your Ipad...which is actually quite a big download, so you have to be patient.
Hope this helps.
THE SOLINOID VALVE IS ONLY PART OF THE SYSTEM YOU MAY HAVE A LDP (LEAK DETECTION PUMP) PROBLEM INTERNAL LEAKS ARE HARD TO DIAG YOU MAY WANT TO BRING TO A DEALER.
I have no magic solutions for this problem, and I?m guessing you?ve already tried what I?m going to suggest, but if not maybe you should try that:
1. are you using a laptop? The card you?re using might be a Cardbus, which usually isn?t supported by laptops because of BIOS settings.
2. It might also be a driver problem. Disconnect the card, remove it, remove the drivers. Restart the computer and reinstall the drivers. Turn the computer off. Reconnect the card and only then turn the computer on again. Wait a few minutes (sometimes it takes a few minutes for the computer to recognize new software). I don?t know if it would work, but it?s worth giving a shot.
