I have a new ds game stuck in the slot - please help

The spring that holds the game in place is broken and needs to be replaced. at some point someone may have snatched the game out instead of pressing it in then ejecting it. needs main fuse ( F2) repalcing
they are surface mount ( solder) fuses and small (1.3mm)

may also need a game slot if pins are bent :-)

I had this same problem with 3 ds lites it would freeze on startup some times after freezing with the r4 what i found is the card is not making a good connection with the pins in the slot 1, you can get a new slot 1 for a few bucks but it requires soldering. until i received my new one i took a 1.0mm screw driver flat head and pushed the card all the way down and lodged it with the screw driver. Has not froze after that.

my son's DS had the same problem this week. With the DS turned off, ,I pushed the game in and held it right down while turning the DS on. The game registered and I let go of the game and it clicked in to place. The next time I tried the game it registered straight away. Good luck!

lol funny situation now maybe you should get either 2 very thin peices of wire or something sort of solid and fish it out or unscrew your console and if there are wires hanging from bits just dont touch them and keep unscrewing and remember were you took the things out from then when you get to the cd slot take the ds card out and that should work good luck

send it off to a ds light coumpany and see if they will do anything about it

had this problem, i looked into where the game goes and one of the little metal teeth was bent, so i took a long toothpick and gently pushed it back over now it works fine. Be careful that you dont break it off though.

they probably would realize due to serial numbers - too risky.

check the connectors inside cartridge slot inside ds, verify if they are all aligned ( | | | | | ).

if any contact is bend, you must align it, also check for dirt or rust inside slot.

sometimes you will need to clean contacts inside. you must buy a cleaning kit to do it.

Maybe it has got something in the nintendo games slot. My one kept not working and when I cleaned that slot it worked, there was a bit of tissue in it.
