Rem car is offf wired for constant i turn my cars lights on i lose audio from deck and when i have the dashboard dimmer unhooked every thing works fine if i leave the deck off i have no dash board lights

I would start by disconnecting the radio and hooking it up right,the power should go through the ignition switch.So that when you turn the car off the radio will go off and to hear it on again you have to turn the key to accessory or start it.That might take care of a few of your problems.
