I have changed to Jado fixtures. Once the fixture were installed, the water pressure in my shower/tub has significantly reduced. Is this a problem with Jado? The rough valve is also Jado.
On the cartidge there should be a little stopper on the stem that sticks out where the handle goes on ( this prevents the handle from going all the way up ) try repositioning this stopper. good luck

Is the hot water pressure good at other fixtures in the house? I'm guessing your newer valves have a scolding adjustment that is set very low. Check the instructions that came with the valve assembly.
Are your walls still open? I assume they are as you'd be unlikely to close them up without having had tested your water flow. Here is what I would do.
1.) use the orange plastic C shaped release tool to depress the white plastic ring on the shark bite fitting that you have on the delta side of the Delta-ShowerHead connection.
2.) Carefully and slowly turn water on and see if water is exiting the fixture where you expect it to.
IF yes, water is coming out of the delta fixture then you know the flow problem is somewhere between the delta fixture and your shower head.
IF no, water is not coming out the delta fixture then you need to re-access how you connected the supply lines to the delta fixture.
All new fixture have a filter on the end of the outlet you should remove and clean it. Whem you close water source debrie from the pipe linner get lose and them blocks the filter on faucets
Every faucet and shower have a water saving restricter in them. Remove them from the shower head and end of the faucets.
They are about the size of a dime and with about 1/8" hole in them in which water flows out. So the flow is getting restricted from 1/2' flow to this giving you a water saving about a 1.5 gpm.
Below is some more information for the web site please check it out for further help. http://www.inspectapedia.com/water/Poor-Water-Pressure-Diagnosis.htm Poor water pressure just at certain plumbing fixtures? poor cold water pressure, hot water pressure, or both hot and cold water pressure or flow that is observed just at some plumbing fixtures in a building while flow and quantity are good at others suggests that the water flow or pressure problems are local to certain runs of supply piping or to the specific fixtures. Check the following first:
Clogged aerator or strainer on sink faucets - clogging by dirt, debris, corrosion, can significantly reduce both hot and cold water flow at a sink where the strainer needs cleaning or replacement. Unscrew the strainer from the faucet and turn on the water - if the fixture pressure or flow is much better you've probably found the problem.
Look at the aerator/strainer: inspect it, clean it, perhaps soaking it overnight in vinegar to remove corrosion and mineral build-up, or just install a new aerator/strainer.
Two possibilities come to mind. 1. The shut off valve (in the wall under the fixture) is almost closed. 2. Trash in the valve assembly or a broken seal. Turn off the water at the shut off valve and remove the handle and stem from the fixture. Clean and replace anything broken. You could even open the shut off valve for a second to flush any junk out of the fixture. Reassemble, turn water back on, and test. This should solve your problem.
If water gets cold at all fixtures Its most likly the dip tube in the water heater they make replacement dip tubes but the water heater usally dosnt last but a yr or so after the tube gos bad. If the problem is only in the shower its probibly the shower valve. It could be a fixture capped off wrong, or water lines crossed som where in the shower end of the biulding.
only when its on? it can only be from 3 places the the plumbing up to shower head or the tub spout or crack in fixture make a hole in the wall behind fixture easier then replaceing tile if you can turn on and see where the water is coming from you need to open anyways thank you for useing fixya please rate me
take out the cartridge from the fixture and make sure it has all of the "O" rings and stoppers.
look at the instruction again, make sue you are installing it the right side up. if all that, the shower still leak, then you need to talk to the place you brought the fixture, it may have a defective cartridge.
