Try changing your wireless channel to 1 or 11 to see if that resolves the problem. You can access the router page if you need help logging into your router.

Hi there, unfortunately you wont be able to use a standard wireless adaptor in your Wii purely because you cant install the software for it as PC software is completely different from the Wii software. The built in wireless should work, just that you may need to adjust some settings first. Make sure that your router signal is set to 802.11G and not 802.11N as the Wii cannot use 802.11N. Also make sure you have typed in the WEP key (usually found on a sticker on the wireless router) correctly.

There is a USB adapter that you will need to buy that will enable you to use an ethernet cable to hook to your Wii to get internet.

The power box on the power cord needs to be reset,,

unplug it from the wall and wii and retry,,

You may have to keep it unpluged over night
