Canon D680 (Fax and Photocopier)

Our Canon D680 will not power up. It give a message as follows: "System Error E000". We can not locate our manual and would appreciate any assistance or advise to solve this problem. Thank you.

1. Press ?additional functions? key. 2. Press ?#? key. 3. Press the ?>? key until you get to number 7. 4. Press ?Set?. 5. Press ?>? key until you get to number 4 (printer reset). 6. Press ?Set?. 7. Select ?yes? if in a fuser error. If this does not work, you will probably need a new fuser unit. Ed

Printer D880 Cannon System error E000. What will fdix it?

From a fellow FixYa expert, "Press "Additional Functions", press "#", then press the "Right Arrow" button till it says, "Printer", then press "Set" then press the "Right Arrow" button again until it says "Printer Reset" then press "Set" again, the display will ask you "Yes" or "No". Press the "Left" arrow for "Yes", then press "Set". Now, unplug the power cord and wait 5 seconds and plug back in. If this don't work, get a new fuser."
