Where do these MIC, RET, OUT (vcc) cables plug in at?

with the 5.4 engine
violet/white--- tps reference
gray/white ------ tps 1 signal
orange/lt. blue -- tps signal return
gray/red ----- signal return
red/white ---- reference voltage

with a 6.0 diesel

tan--------ref. volts
yel/white- apps 1 signal
blk/org---- signal ret.
white/red- apps 3 signal
gray/blk--- apps 2 return
white------- apps 2 signal
blk/white-- aps2

If the user manual isn't giving you locations for those wires then they are not supported or that board is expecting a different type plug to work properly. Check the motherboard manufacturer website for a user manual download.

The L&R-Ret2&3 are common so only one needs fitting so for the speakers you only need to connect 3 cables. R-Out, L-Out and one return (either L of R). I'll comment back shortly on the mic pins for you.

Here is what I have: If the Tug 8 is a 4 wire cable,1/shield 2/white 3/red 4/black 5/N/C 6/N/C
If the TUG 8 is 6 wire cable,1/shield & blue 2/white 3/red 4/black 5/N/C 6/N/C .The reason I gave two diagrams is I can never remember if the 8 or the 9 is 4 wire cable.Also if your radio keys up when you plug mic in reverse the black and red.Good Luck and take care!

I've been there. The connections you do not have hooked up, you can leave unconnected and the computer will work, although you probably will not have sound. All the connections you ask about are audio, so you might need to look around for another place to hook them up. On some computer motherboards those connections are not alongside the power connections, they may be close to where you plug in the speakers and mic. If all else fails, you can buy a USB audio in/out card for less than $3 online and use it.
