Horizontal Lines in picture

My 10 year old Mitsubishi 45" rear projection has developed constant horizontal line interference. Picture is stable, just have horizontal lines marching up it. Also has developed occasional video loss although audio continues.

Picture becomes fuzzy and lined, clears with a sharp rap on the top of case.

probably a bad connection on the circuit board inside that heats up over time. the tap on the top probably moves the connection just enough To make it good for short time.

Mitsubishi VS-45607 45" Big Screen

Good Day, Delano1981;

It may cure the problem but I would suspect the 9 Volt source
CHECK C2P05 100 UFD 16 V OFF PIN 3 OF IC2P01 AND
IC2P01 PART # 270P466020 (9-VOLT REGULATOR). BOTH
ARE ON THE SIGNAL PCB.

This should resolve your TV"s condition.

Good Luck, big IRISH.
