If your Saniplus macerator won't pump and the motor is humming or spinning slowly it is 95% likely that the internal motor capacitor has failed - most common problem with these units

I have posted repair instructions here:

Pump randomly runs

This problem maybe caused by a slight weep of water from the cistern the saniflow has a sensitive float system , once level is reached the unit will turn on until required level is acheaved again . So check toilet bowl to see if the is a trickle of water if so you need to take a look at the flush system in your cistern.

Pump wont shut off

Hi,

You need to check the following: Nothing connected to the saniflow is running e.g. tap dripping, ball valve in toilet cistern stuck/faulty

Any of these faults will cause the saniflo to run continuously. If none of these are visible then there is a chance that a flow switch is stuck or faulty within the unit.

I would carry out the checks first then call in an expert to service the unit.

I hope this helps.
