Pictures has wavy lines. Started happening about a day ago. It never did this before.
Look to see if it happens on the rear audio and video inputs--that will narrow down where the problem is.
Be aware this model was RECALLED and all original owners were supposed to have the set replaced a few years ago.
Also rule out the signal---if using a cable box connect the cable without it directly to the coax fitting---box can cause this---stranger things have happened.

on the tv itself push the volume down button and at the same time using the remote control press the pip button. I just did this on my tv - had the same problem. it worked perfectly. Jeanne

i'm on my 3rd bulb in 5 yrs. i hate this tv. this time my bulb light didn't come on. instead the power light flashed green fast then went to red flashing after. i took out the bulb and it's blown!

It very well could be the ballast. I unfortunately have this tv and keep extra bulbs because they go out about once a year. Last time when I replaced the bulb the tv blinked and the red lamp light flashed like it does when the bulb is bad. Ballast repair kit fixed it up. This is certainly a design issue but you'll get no help from Panasonic. If tv comes on the goes out after a while, clean the fan filter.

I think you hold down the volume - button on the TV and the SPLIT or PIP button on the TV remote at the same time for 5+ seconds. Becareful that your arm does not block the remote from getting to the TV. A message will appear when you are successful. Best wishes.
