Scan head faulty & it need to replace to solve this issue...Scan head located under flat bed glass, to remove this part flat bed unit need to open..see the snap shot.

it is a physical brocken piece that supports scanner mechanism.
if you open that plate /scanner mechanism and if you drill that plastic sheet and try some manufactureed alluminium or metal projection and place it in the hole drilled by you and put washer and screew so that that supports ;the scanner mechanism and your scanner /printer works . the scanner mechanism may costs you around 3,000-00 rupees.
