I have just installed a W200 Multiport WLAN and installed the older driver to get rid of the Dreaded Blue Screen of Death, but kept picking up a weaker neighborhood signal as opposed to my own wireless network, so I stupidly hit the "disable" button without thinking and can not find where to enable the Multiport again. Any help ???. Thanks, Bigdawg
NO OS stated, XP?
posting any PC with out OS , is just a waste of your time
and ours, why do that.?
14 Windows, and more Linux.
must we just guess.?
and ask there, where they will damand that.
W200 Multiport WLAN
from whom, and what model it it, ???? we cant guess modifications ever.
if all parts are from HP, say so.
at HP , (we are no HP they are)
they PC came new with W98 or XP
now i cant guess that can I , both are now dead OS>
but lucky you HP forgot to erase this support page.
lets pretend you said its XP 64bit
and you then read the offical page at HP guess what there are 9 chips used, for networking.
no all are WLAN.
but no lie the SP12345.exe file that runs zero error
is the correct one, (nice HP feature that)
so here it is,
no need to hunt and get a virus, the real thing is still there.

Basically "disconnect" WiFi and then reconnect but select which one, in your case yours. You might have to enter a password if you have set up such I should be good to go.
For more detailed and specific information I would need to know more such as operating system device types Etc.

http://www.fixya.com/support/t612983-blue_screen_hp_wlan_multiport_w200 seems to have the solution.
It says:
Rollback the W200 driver to version 1.00C. Subsequent drivers are incompatible with XP SP2.
Unfortunately, WPA support came in version 1.00E, so W200 + XpSp2 = no WPA support. :(
I removed my wirelss drivers and compaq wireless client software, then installed the older driver from http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=hb-13082-1&lc=en&cc=fr&dlc=en&os=228&product=235687&lang=en which is sp23031. This seems to have worked.
