Ill aasumme that yo can see the elemnet in question, and its not a "hidden bake" elemnet located under the oven floor.. should be an easyrepair, with a little bit of patience. don trush shoudl only take 10 min anyway. TURN OFF POWER> LIVE WIRES TO ELEMENT AT ALL TIMES. REGARDLESS OF UNIT ON OR NOT!!! ther ewill be 2 screws along the bottom of the element holding the elemnt in the unit. after emoving carfully slide the old elemnt out a few inches, slowly pull out, for the wires are still attached to the back of elemnt and you want them to stay there you dont want them to disconnect and fall behind unit, (you will then need to remove the unit form the wall to access htem). so pull slowly espescially if you feel resistance in the wiring. after you getit out far enough simply unplug and plug in the new one reinstalll and you shoud be fine

Whirlpool gold double oven model #gbd307pdb. upper oven lower heating element burned out. replace lower element. it does not get hot. upper element heats up. control board works. is this the thermos

You will have to see if there is power to the element. It is possible that the relay contacts burned when the element burned out. There is a fusable link but this would shut down both the top and bottom elements. If the relay is burned out the control board will need replacing or rebuilding.

Delonghi range oven

Bake- Normal convection- both upper and lower heating elements.

Conv. Bake- Semi-forced convection- both upper and lower elements, heat is then distributed throughout the oven via the fan.

Broil- radiation- The heat is radiated by the ifrared broil element.

Broil & Fan- Radiation and Ventilation- The radiated heat from the infra-red broiling element is distributed throughout the oven via the fan.

Electric Oven doen't heat

cdkd, there should be a TC0, on the back of the oven. Thermal cut out. You want to check to see if it is open. You will have to pull the oven out enough that you can remove the back panel cover and check it. The lower and upper oven should have one. It's a very cheap part to replace. If this TCO fails, no heat. Check this first before buying a new board. Catriver..post back.
