Unable to browse the internet - no network connection

No internet connection issues with previous provider Vodafone, but since moving to GoTalk i am now unable to connect to the internet and message says there is no internet connection. All previous network settings have been cleared and new GoTalk network settings for this phone model have been downloaded and installed. (i suspect GoTalk may have the wrong settings on file for this phone model?). Your assistance is needed and greatly appreciated.

The internet said that they can not bring up your web page.

Internet Explore Cannot Display the Webpage
As you browse the Web with Internet Explorer, you may occasionally encounter an error message about the browser being unable to display the requested Web page.
If your browser is unable to display a page, the issue lies somewhere along the path from your computer to the remote website. In some cases, you can resolve the issue by troubleshooting your computer or Internet connection. Internet Connection Issue
If Internet Explorer is unable to display any pages at all, see if you are able to browse the Web on another computer.
If none of the computers in your home can browse, the problem is related to your Internet connection.
In some cases, you can resolve an Internet connection issue by unplugging the power connections for your broadband modem and router temporarily.
If you are still unable to browse, contact your Internet service provider for further assistance.

Malicious Software
If you are unable to browse the Web on your computer but can browse on other computers, the computer itself has an issue. In some cases, this can mean that your computer is infected with malicious software.
Download an anti-virus program on another computer and run it on the affected computer to troubleshoot the issue.

User Error If you receive an error in Internet Explorer when you attempt to browse to a single website, but other websites work, check to make sure that you are entering the address of the website correctly.
By default, Internet Explorer searches the Web for a close result if the address you entered is not associated with an actual website. If you have disabled this feature and enter a website address incorrectly, Internet Explorer displays an error message.

Remote Website Issue

If you are unable to browse to a single website and are certain that you have entered the website address correctly, it is likely that the website itself has a problem.
You can wait and attempt to view the website again later, or search for the website on Google or another search engine and click the "Cached" link to view a recent cached copy of the website.

My phone keeps saying there is aproblem connecting to gprs service in your registered home network

All phones need APN setting to make them work for gprs or data functions.
You can find the settings from your network operator and then you can follow this video guide on how to enter APN settings in any HTC phone.
This is a tutorial on how to add APN settings to HTC phones for your network providers. Example phone used is a HTC Hero but process is same for all HTC models.
APN and Data Settings Change for HTC Phones
  1. Go to settings -> wireless controls
  2. Go to Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names
  3. Click Menu and select New APN
  4. All you need to add for most networks is just the APN setting which can be obtained from your simcards network provider
  5. Press Menu and Save
  6. You are ready and have configured data connection settings.
Enjoy your HTC phones unlocked for Voice and Data for any network. see video below

I am getting connected but unable to browse web pages.

You have only set this up on your phones GPRS Network Settings. You need to configure it in the Sony PC Suites Network Settings. Use the Vodafone GPRS Network settings in their and you will get a working Internet connecting from your phone.

Unable to connect to internet through Wi Fi on Nokia E65

You need to "authenticate" the wireless meaning you need the password to the web signal. Your phone may have an internal software issue in which it prevents you from connecting to the internet. Contact your phone company to trouble shoot it or get a replacement phone.

That seems to be a normal result (Lack of intenet access) if you are pulling down torrents if your router is configured as DHCP. UTorrent recommends static IP addressing to optimise the application.

You can restore your connectivity by closing the uTorrent application by right-clicking the icon in the taskbar and exiting the program completely.

Configurations

hi i had the same problem with viewing and sending mms and my provider was unable to help. You need to get the settings from your mobile network provider and then go to: Menu, settings, connection settings, choose whatever provider you are with eg optus, vodafone or whatever.  Enter and save the settings by hitting save. Get back to menu, messages, settings, multimedia message, profile.  Select the same name that you saved the settings under previously. This is how I worked mine out and it works now. Good luck
