Are you talking about the crown or the dial at any rate for the crown try Red rooster on the internet and the face there are many companies that will refinish the dial/face for a mere 30 or 40 USD
One of the dials should be seconds so you won't be setting that, the other two should be day and date, when you pull the stem and crown all the way out you can set the time there is a halfway setting ( pull the stem halfway out) if you turn one way it's the day of the week the other way is the date. Hope this helps! Also what appears to be a second hand on the dial a lot of times is actually a stopwatch.
do not pull the stem all the way just half way out. Turn clock wises the date should move. move to correct date. counter clock wises for the day. For the analog hold down the set mode button until it starts to blinking to change number with the start and stop. to change what is blinking press the mode button
Crown(stem) at 10 O'clock has air inlet for temperature, does not move. Crown at 8 O'clock is for setting 3rd time zone next to it. The two buttons on the right of the case, above and below, set 2nd time zone which is at the 6 O'clock position of the large dial. To set #2 push top button till min. hand moves 1 min., then push bottom button to move 1 min each time or hold for rapid movement. Large crown sets date and large dial. Unscrew it (counterclockwise) then pull out to first click, then set date turning crown clockwise, continue to pull out till 3rd click which is where you set the time on the large dial.
I have the exact same issue with the minute hand resting at the 1 minute mark and now I have condensation under the glass. The watch is only 2 months old so I think I will return it.
1.the dial on the right top is the 1/10 second timer
2.the dial on the left top is 30 minutes timer
3. the dial in the bottom is the one showing seconds, otherwise called as seconds hand.
If you don't have the instruction manual you can go to this link and on the right side of the page you can type in the model number. (it will tell you where to locate the model number) I tried this for a Bulova from 1998 and it worked but I don't know how far it will go back but it's worth a try. http://www.bulova.com/service/instructions.aspx
the same with the bulova
