When I am trying to embroider I send the image from the computer to the sewing machine and the message on the computer is: machine has paused. Press start to begin sewing. I press start but nothing happens! help!
Make sure your machine is on a level table or base. I had the same problem with my CE-200 and as soon as I moved the machine to a level table the start button worked.
Try turning off the machine and turning it on again. Sometimes this will reset it so it will work. Also, make sure the embroidery foot is in the down position; the machine will pause and "beep" if you haven't lowered it. Hope this helps!

You can skip color blocks that you have already embroidered. When you get to the one you were working on when the machine was turned off, send it to the machine and use the needle down button to advance the design to the point when you stopped. Then you can hit the green button and proceed.
Scan 'n Sew is hardware used to transfer embroidery designs from your computer to the machine's card so that you can embroider that particular design. I have one and love it. It will send a template to your printer as well as the design to the card. It has other functions that I don't use because I use another program to edit designs (Embird).
Dear Magarita, The safety device is activated when thread gets entangled around the bobbin case. First check by removing the plastic see-through plate. If necessary remove the 2 scews on the metal needle plate and remove the bobbin case completely. Put it back and test by turning the handwheel. It should turn freely.
Look at the back of the needle threader. There is a buttonhole lever. Pull it down and push it back to the top. The machine gives a warning message if the lever is down and you wants to sew or embroid.
You must remember your machine acts like a printer. It will only accept another pattern once the current one is finished. A common fault amongst many users are that they send another pattern while the machine is busy with the current pattern. The correct procedure would be to cancel the current pattern, before sending another one.
You do this by clicking on "exit". Another window will open and ask you if you want to terminate the current transmision to the machine.
If you send one pattern over the current one, your machine is capable of queing and the only wat to resove the issue is by switching the machine off and leaving it off for 60 seconds and resend your nwe pattern
Autopunch is a very basic digitizing program and can not handle jpg images that has a lot of detail and colours. It can can handle simple clipart images with ease. If you want to embroider the logo ask someone who has a proper software program to digitize the logo for you and you should be able to to do the embroidery on your machine.
