Camera not reading SD card after being removed from my reader

My pictures are recorded to a memory card. I take the card out and insert into a removable reader. When I put the memory card back into the camera the pictures are no longer on the card (the camera says "read error"). Prior to using a removable reader I would plug my camera directly into my computer and did not have this problem when re-inserting the card to the camera. Can you help me with this issue?

Put the SD card back into the card reader. Are you files still there when the computer tries to read them?
If they are not, then it is very likely the card is corrupt. This happens when the card is removed before the computer is done reading/writing to the card.

There is also a SLIM chance the card is just bad.

Im not able to view video that i have recorded

This is not my area of expertise, but I have done this a few times. Depending on whether you have a removeable SD card or not, you can remove the SD card from the camera and insert it into a reader slot on your Laptop.
Then you will need to access a Media program on your computer or have the Laptop read the SD card with an Autoread setting preprogrammed in the Laptop. If you use a Media program, you would use an "Import" command to transfer the images.
If you do not have an SD reader, you will need a USB port connector to wire the images from the camera to your Laptop. Also the camera may have recorded the pictures on Internal memory without a removeable SD card. You should get the images out of the camera and onto your Laptop as a permanent location for them.
Even with an SD card in your camera, sometimes you need to set up your camera to use the SD card instead of the internal memory.
Finally, if you do have an SD card and are getting nowhere in trying to do this with your equipment, Walgreens have photo equipment which may help you transfer your movies from one Media to another.
Like people, the equipment and capabilities may vary at different locations. Finally, using a service like Walgreens may help you determine if your problem is camera based or Laptop based.
I hope that in some way my solution has helped you.

Sd card cannot be read & internal memory of camera cannot be read

Which Kodak camera model?
It may not support a large SD (SDHC) memory card.
Remove the card and remove the batteries.
Turn ON the camera (I know, no batteries) for one minute.
Turn OFF camera and install batteries.
Do not insert the memory card.
Does the internal memory work?
If so, insert memory card.

If it's ok to format the card, do so.
If not, then use a USB adapter and copy the memory card to your [My Pictures] folder.
Format memory card.

I do not have the disc to install in my pc how can i get pictures from my camera to my pc?

The simplest solution is to buy a card reader for your particular memory card (SD, Xd, etc). The card reader will have a slot for your memory card and a plug for your computer's USB port. This does require removing the memory card from your camera and inserting it into the card reader. Some computers have card readers built into them already, but beware that some older computers will not accept an SD card over 1 or 2 GB memory size. The card reader will solve this problem.
