Question about Carrier Heating & Cooling
My ac turned off by itself and started flashing "CF" on the led display. No matter what buttons are presses on the AC or remote, the AC will not respond. I have to unplug it then plug it again for it to work again. What does the flashing CF mean?

Its clean filter reminder.

On this air conditioner it's the "Clean Filter" reminder.
Once you've cleaned the filter, you can reset the reminder with the remote (look for a button or a 2nd F labelled Filter Reset).
