Can't bond Samsung bluetooth(WEP 200)with my Motorola A1200 Ming

I just got a Samsung blue-tooth headset AATH202HBE (WEP 200) as a gift and i can not get it to bond with my Motorola A1200 Ming. Would you please tell me how to get them to bond. This is what i had try:
- Turn blue-tooth mode ON on my hand-set
- Turn blue-tooth headset ON
- Search for device..... but keep getting NO DEVICE found message
- Also try blue-tooth mode DISCOVERABLE on my handset.....getting the same message ( no device found). Thank you for your time .

I checked the owner manual. Turning it ON means you already put it in "pairing mode"

Thank you for your quick respond Mistersony, i did exactly that but still get "NO DEVICE" found on my handset. I wonder if the Samsung headset is comparable with my Ming?

Once again, thank you Mistersony, i'll try Howard's Forums. You have a good weekend and Happy Halloween.

This may sound like a stupid question, but do you have the headset in "pairing" mode? If you have the manual, it should tell you how to put the headset in pairing mode.

Try this (from the manual)
2 Press and hold the Multi-Function button until
the indicator light turns on in blue
(approximately 8 seconds).

The headset must be off first, then hold the button down until the indicator turns blue

It could be that it is incompatible. Are you sure that your phone's bluetooth is working properly? Have you been able to use other bluetooth headsets with your phone? Also, you can check a website called Howard's Forums. A lot of good information on cell phones and bluetooth headsets.
