Has anyone disassembled one of these units? I was unable to find any reference in Fixya's database searching under "disassembly" or "tear-down". My intent is to investigate whether this failed unit might be candidate for repair attempt versus parts salvage.
There are a lot of clips to undo, but I managed to get mine opened up without breaking any off. All of the buttons and lights worked, it just stopped putting out any water. So I figured something just needed to get unclogged.
Here's what I did-
Unplug the machine and remove the drip tray, if present. I found it easier to work with the water reservoir and cup bin closed.
Remove the 8 screws around the edge of the metal base (indicated by green dots in the picture). Leave the other 4 screws in place.
Remove the two screws holding the circuit board clip in place (indicated by green dots in this picture). Keep these separate from the screws you removed earlier, and leave the two screws on either side of the dispense area in place.
You can now wiggle/rotate the circuit board out to check for obvious damage. There are some parts you might be able to replace, like the poly capacitors. In my case, it looked fine so I wiggled the board back and screwed the clip back in place.
To remove the front panels from either side of the dispense area, I slid an empty gift card into the seam, toward the front of the brewer. If you start at the bottom of the brewer, you can see how far to push the card into the seam. Then, slide the card along the seam to undo the clKeurig b30 teardown - side clips-actsnwcjtaeutfodfdtmsxpn-2-9.jpgclips-actsnwcjtaeutfodfdtmsxpn-2-9.jpg" alt="side clips-actsnwcjtaeutfodfdtmsxpn-2-9.jpg" class="h_mi" />
Here's a closeup of one clip. For perspective, my hand is underneath the brewer, and my thumb is pushing the front panel forward. There are three of these clips molded into each sKeurig b30 teardown - side opened-actsnwcjtaeutfodfdtmsxpn-2-14.jpgloads/images/side opened-actsnwcjtaeutfodfdtmsxpn-2-14.jpg" alt="side opened-actsnwcjtaeutfodfdtmsxpn-2-14.jpg" class="h_mi" />
Once you have unzipped the three clips for one front panel, you can grab it and slowly pull forward and into the dispenser area to unhook the larger clips on the other side of the panel. There are two of these clips on the inner edge of each front panel. It takes a pretty good amount of force to get them unhooked, but patience pays off. Be especially careful with the panel that has the buttons/lights; the large button has an extension and sprinKeurig b30 teardown - front%20panel%20off-actsnwcjtaeutfodfdtmsxpn-2-27.jpgc="/uploads/images/front%20panel%20off-actsnwcjtaeutfodfdtmsxpn-2-27.jpg" alt="front%20panel%20off-actsnwcjtaeutfodfdtmsxpn-2-27.jpg" class="h_mi" />
With the two front panels off, you can remove the 8 screws from around the outside edge of the unit. These also need to be kept in a separate pile. LeaveKeurig b30 teardown - front without panels-actsnwcjtaeutfodfdtmsxpn-2-35.jpgnow.

You should have a pretty good view of all the inner workings now.
On my B30, the straight connector (check valve?) between the two loose zipties had slipped down, pinching off the hose where it takes a turn toward the tee connector. I added the black ziptie to hold it in place on the frame, and a tKeurig b30 teardown - bottom plate-actsnwcjtaeutfodfdtmsxpn-2-7.jpgck together, and it has been trouble-free for many years since.
SOURCE: keurig B30 won't brew, no blue light comes on
Our problem was a glass cup. Changed cup to opaque cup and it worked ok, (optical sensor ?)
SOURCE: Keurig b30 turn on here motor, no water comes into
It takes about 3 minutes to brew. You cannot use a clear coffee mug (scensors won't detect it)
You should be able to turn it on, Then place k-cup in holder, Then close lid and water reservoir lid will pop up and you add desired amount of water. Then push lid down, place mug under spout and the blue light will light up and you push taht. Within 3 minutes you should have some coffee
