You need too set up a totally new network.goto networks, click setup new network and follow the instructions. You will need the password for the livebox and more than likely need to call your network provider. If you have a desktop pc in the building its probably easier to set up a Home network

Your Acer computer has a networking card installed so that it can connect to a wireless local area network (LAN) to share files or surf the Web.
By using a wireless network, you can bypass the need to run cables between different rooms in your office or home.
To set up a wireless LAN, you will need to change settings in the computer's operating system and use the eNet Management software that Acer provided.

Connect an Ethernet cable to the "Wide Area Network" port on the back end of your wireless router.
Attach the other end of the cable to the Ethernet port on the back end of your high-speed modem.
nsert the installation disc that came with the wireless router into your Acer computer's disc drive.
Follow the on-screen installation instructions.
Access the Acer's Start menu and open the Control Panel.
Click "Network and Sharing Center," and then choose the "Set up a new connection or network" link.
Choose "Set up a new network" and then "Next."
Enter a name for your local area network, such as "Home" or "My Network," into the "Network Name" text field.
Type a password for your network in the "Security Key" text box and click "Next."
Click "Finish." Right-click the "Acer eNet Management" icon in the Windows task bar.
Scroll to "Available WLANs" and then click the name of the network that you chose earlier.

Type in the password you chose earlier and click "OK" to connect your Acer to the Wireless LAN.

Acer Netbook is "Connected" but can't use internet

You first need to establish that you have internet available to your router via cable modem, dsl, etc. Unless your modem is also your wireless router. Take your ethernet connection or cable that resembles a large phone cable and plug in your Acer One directly into the router. You should then be able to get internet. If not, you may have a problem with your internet in general and need to contact your Internet Service Provider. Also if possible try another pc, see if it has internet. Lastly try reinstalling wireless diver in device manager.

Acer aspire will not connect to wireless network

Does your home router have a password? The only thing I can think of doing is removing all the preferred access points from your wireless card's utility or windows (located at start => Setting => Net connections => Wireless => Wireless Networks.

Then add your home access point back.
