Toshiba satellite l505 gs6000 amd mobo fried can i replace with the l505 intel board??

if your motherboard is fried and you are running windows it is probably best to find a replacement motherboard of the same make and model so when you go to start it up it should work.

if not you can attempt to have it fit into the laptop but laptop motherboards don't have a standard size so some modifications might need to be made

This Toshiba Satellite L505D-GS6000 will sometimes freeze or power down after a short blue screen. I have run several virus and malware checks. It seems to be OK in safe mode but then will sometimes not...

Safe Mode allows your computer to run with minimal number of drivers. This allows you to troubleshoot any problems that cause the "BSOD" You mentioned the graphics card, reduce your screen resolution while in safe mode and reboot, this has helped me numerous times

Toshiba Satellite Goes completley off! Black screen, NO POWER!

This problem is likely caused by overheating. The CPU reaches a temp to high and shuts the system down. When you try to turn it on the system is still to hot and it will not let the computer power on. You can try blowing out the fans and heat sink with an air compressor or can of compressed air. If this does not help the problem you may need to have thermal compound reapplied. If that does not fix it it will need a new heatsink/fan/

Monitor goes black with a white horizontal line across the middle of the screen

Check to see that the monitor cable is correctly installed. Also, make sure you have the most up-to-date drivers installed for your graphics adaptor card(both ATI and Nvidia carry catch-all driver programs to keep you up to date.) Tighten the cable screws of course, to make sure the monitor cable isnt just wiggling in its seating.
