Do you have the software disc for the remote? If not, go to the Logitech website and download it for your model. You might need drivers from the program to work with Win 7. I'm running mine without any problem.
Try this: Unplug EVERYTHING(related to both the router and modem). BEFORE you plug in power to anything, connect all of your ethernet. So, first ethernet goes from modem to router. Make sure they are in their proper places. Next, take another ethernet cable and attach that from modem to computer. NOW, power everything up. Google the linksys router splash page login. Im sure it'll be something like: 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or something along those lines. From there, you should be able to set up your wireless. Once thats all good, unplug just your computer and everything should be fine. If that doesn't work, its either time for a new router or you're having wifi card issues.
Buy generic remote, after you verify that your make and model are supported first. If you buy the remote at a local "superstore", verify the return policy if it doesn't work. Simple models are very inexpensive.
Alternative is some phones have IR ports and you may find a program to control your TV with it. Far fetched, but you might have the right combo.
I have the same TV & cannot get into the TV menu to program the cable... it was bought secondhand without the original remote. There are no buttons anywhere on the TV itself to bring up the menu & the universal remote's menu option doesn't do it, either... how do I set the channels?
has new batteries. can you operate it without remote?
