Removed 2 nuts on muffler of 025 Stihl . . .mufler will not come off
SOURCE: Fuel line for Stihl 025 chainsaw
Hi
It happens sometimes. You have to replace the fuel line. This is a trick.Remove the gas tank cap and take off the fuel line and remove the fuel filter.Take off the fuel line from the gas tank.Cut off the piece of the fuel line wich is larger and seals the gas tank. Now through that piece of fuel put an ordinary fuel but about the same diameter.Put all back and that is all you have to do.If you need farther info just let me know. best regards savumihai71

Hi
First remove the cover, air filter and the carburator. Then remove the gas tank cap and the fuel filter from inside of gas tank,at the end of fuel line.Take off the fuel line from the hole of the gas tank(at the top),replace the fuel line, put all back together and start the engine.

SOURCE: I have a Stihl BG55 Blower Gas comes out of muffler.
you have a piece of trash/debris under the inlet needle of the carb and or a welch plug has come out, ive seen this many times on zama carbs, if its within warranty bring it back to your service center for a new carburetor.
SOURCE: Ref: Stihl FS46 string trimmer. Broken Flex shaft.
Remove orange sheild, remove single screw holding head in shaft then grab head with pliers and twist side to side until complete head is free. You should then be able to grab part of shaft. On power head loosen screws {about one turn each} that hold two white case halves near trigger,I think there are four, then there is a single torx screw on the bottom of lower case half in the middle that must be taken out to allow tube to be removed.Romove flexshaft from top.Check 4 plastic burnt to flexshaft,if there is you must replace tube liner as well, usally around bent part of tube the liner will go bad.
