Unknown callers should have a number that appears with no name - these can be blocked post call or in the Settings/Phone/Blocked Callers section. Unknown calls with no number can only be blocked from the carrier side - you would have to contact your provider.
The display should indicate what's going on with CLIP, and why it's not showing up. You should either see an icon of a BELL, "WITHHELD" or "UNAVAILABLE". BELL = you haven't requested CLI from your carrier WITHHELD = if caller has withheld CLI from carrier UNAVAILABLE = CLI is not requested.
Do you see one of these three on the display when you receive a call?
Other than one of those reasons, I'm not sure what your issue might be.
hi my friend when you press the down key in the left side of the phone for 2 seconds , it makes a fake call for you , it is a trick to call a fake call with yourself to run away from a boring place or person :D and when you press that key , the name of caller shown as "unknown"
Always happens. If there is no saved contact number there will show the number with 'Unknown' name. If you want to save the number with any name, then you might do that and after that if that number calls, it'll show the saved number.
Sometimes there are some incoming call that indicates only 'Unknown' with no number at all or '0000000000' that means callers have chose to hide ID or that is a VOIP call. Many operator permits to hide ID but not all.
its most likely a service issue. actually im 99% sure, just ring your service provider and explain your problem, or if you wanna be more technical just tell them that they havent adequately provisioned your CLI number.
Have a look and let me know if that helped you! Although it might not be the exact same model, it might have the information you are looking for. The complete list can be found here.
registering again didn't work for me. I used the following steps 1. close the handset (long-press red button) 2. discconect the base unit from the power source 3. reconnect to the power source and long press the intercom (the only button on the base unit) for 5 seconds. 4. turn on the handset (long-press red button) with 2 seconds and it will be connected again.
