I installed this on a Windows 7 64 bit system. After disabling the onboard audio everything worked fine. 2 Days later I started up my system and everything still worked fine, then I did a Windows update for critical updates. After that, I have no audio now. No meters peaks or respond at all on the Delta systray icon. I did a system restore and repaired the latest Delta 66 audio driver and still nothing. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Was your machine working fine? If so, WHY did you do an update? Updates are never a guarantee and fraught with many issues - U only update when there is a valid reason and it is absolutely necessary - then you cross your fingers and risk it!

U have learned the hard way and now all you can do is attempt to undue what you did. U can try a system repair of your OS since the system restore did not do the trick. And if the repair does not work, and you do not have a backup of your drive, you will have to wipe the drive and reload everything. Have fun and good luck!

SOURCE: Windows XP SP3 platform with single Delta 66.

Go to Device Manager and enable the audio card.
If you cannot enable the audio card or it is not working then install the audio driver again.

Emachines T3116 with no audio

It is entirely possible that the onboard audio died on the mainboard. They fail quite often. However, in order to use an aftermarket card in place of the onboard audio, you will need to go into the CMOS setup and disable the onboard audio to allow the SoundBlaster audio to do its thing.

I can't installed it

Windows XP should load drivers for the card automaticly, you may want to upgrade you system to SP3 if you havent already, Go in BIOS before start up and uninstall your onboard Audio driver under Onboard Periferals, click disable/turn it off, If you have an XP instulation cd you may be able to point windows to the Legacy driver.

I have a sound blaster audigy 24 bit 7.1 sound card . it worked fine on windows xp but when i inserted the card in the slot for my new computer on windows 7 it says that no card was found :/ when i install...

Move the card to a different pci slot on the motherboard. It may have a conflict with another device. Make sure there is no power to the pc when you do this. If you still have the problem after trying all the slots then i suggest you empty all of them and just try the audio card on its own. If it works then fit the card/s you removed into other slots. good luck.

Windows does not see the Nvidia G100 video card in the PCI-E slot. Does not even show up in device manager. Tried to install drivers, but the driver installer says that I don't have any compatible hardware...

Do you have another computer to try it out in? It might be that either the card isn't working, the PCI slot is not working, or the card isn't compatible with the motherboard.

Installed a new Sound Card which does not work.

i think it will only run 1 card at a time so you will need to disable or uninstall the reaktek?

Windows doesn't load

Here's 2 things i would try:

1. Install the latest bios first:

2. When you install the new card, go into the bios first and disable onboard graphics (seems like theres isn't an option for that unfortunately, but check again anyway) choose "auto" if you have no "disable" feature.

3. If you have another pc, or a friend with another pc i would test the card on a different pc just to make sure its not a faulty card.

NO Audio even after putting in own sound card

Difficult to diagnose from afar but go to Start>Run, then type 'dxdiag' without quotes and see if; when it does a sound and video test anything shows up.
