Cannot playback winamp and play the guitar using Guitar Rig3 at the same time

The same problem is with nuendo2 and guitar rig 3 - they cannot work simultaneously. for example: when you close guitar rig, winamp starts to play, when you start winamp when guitar rig is 3 processing, winamp doesn't play. i absolutely have no idea what could be the problem. the integrated sound card of my laptop is disabled. evertyhing works and plays but not at the same time...

My frontman wireless guitar does'nt syn

1. You need 3 other controllers besides the Nyko guitar (they can be the rockband instrument set, or just any PS3 controllers. I used a DS3 a RB guitar and GH3 guitar)
2. You need all 3 of the controllers assigned to the PS3 taking up spot 1-3 except the Nyko guitar (goal is to assign the Nyko to 4 or higher)
3. Plug in the Nyko dongle and attempt to link with the guitar (it will most likely make the Nyko button turn red which is the color that won't play)
4. Turn the switch on the dongle back and forth once or twice ending on GH setting letting the guitar link on it's own (It may not assign correctly on the first try, but keep switching between Rockband setting and GH setting. Always end on GH, because it will work with Rockband on GH setting)
5. After a few times it should link and allow you to play

Problem is the firmware of the PS3 (V3.10 or higher)

Poping noise when play guitar rig 3

Get a power smoother on your equipment ... Trust me on that, It drove me nuts for a while until I found out that the boiler heater in my house was passing static through the power into my pc and making lovely little pops in my recordings.

Trouble playing 2 player Guitar Hero 3

Question, are they wireless guitars or are they corded? If they are wireless, try switching the wireless cards on the playstation where the cord slot is. But use the same guitar with the different card. Thats how I was able to solve my same problem.

Just get clean tone through NI Rig Kontrol 2

you need an asio driver for your rig kontrol.. you are probably set to use DirectX drivers, which will give you latency of 50ms and waaaayy beyond... By contrast, ASIO drivers will give you sub-10ms latency... Most people can play at around 7ms, but im picky, and no more than 5ms will do for me..

Go download the drivers from NI site, and try those.. if that doesnt work, there is ASIO4ALL... google and read.,. this will help ya

keep playin

RECORDING GUITAR USING AUDIOPHILE FIREWIRE AND GUITAR RIG 3

I've ran the audio in on my sound card to my mixer and had the guitar on the mic in.  I've also ran the line in to a small cracker amp.  Keep it turned down. If I would directly connect it use an adaptor.  I haven't tried using a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter and directly connected to it as I wanted to control the tone. I don't see why it wouldn't work.  Keep everything muted and turned all the way down when you first connect it.  Then start raising volumes slowly  I will try and report back As far as spdif you're just recording analog to digital conversion.  I get more realisitc sound just keeping it analog til it hits my line in.  Have a quality sound card.  Not some walmart special.  I use Adobe Audition 1.5 to multichannel record.

No effects

Double click on your speaker icon in the task bar next to the time (Or go to audio in control panel and find advanced settings)

Look for microphone and line in and mute them ...

Then click options, Goto advanced and choose recording and click ok ... Look for the input your using and turn that up as much as you need.

Then check guitar rig ... All should be fine now
