Netopia wireless adaptor had to do system recovery adaptor does not work now how to fix it

hello arthur, you wont need the eircom firmware you just need a firmware update for the netopia 2247nwg-vgx

go here fill out the details and download the firmware and update the router with it

Try to update the wireless card's driver to the latest version using the manufacturer's web site or windows update manager...

The wireless usb card is used for a desktop computer and can be used with most routers. although I have had problems with this wireless card if service pack 3 has been installed.

The adaptor would go into a free USB port on your computer. The wireless adaptor would then need to connect to a wireless router.

First you want to install the drivers form the CD, then install the wireless adaptor to your computer.  Make sure you have a wireless access where your at through a router or other wireless access points.

I cant find this driver but on one other site, and the driver is jank.. doesnt work?

If there are additional ethernet ports (looks like a large phone cord port) on the back of your router, you can connect one of the ethernet ports on the back of the router with the ethernet port on the back of your computer, using a patch cable, which is category 5/5e cable with the large phone plugs on each end.

Or, you will need to purchase a wireless adaptor for your computer, preferrably a Netopia brand.
