Recently noticed a small, about the size of a match head , white "dot" on the screen. It appears when the tv is powered up and stays on until the tv compleatly powers off. Nothing physically on the screen it's self. 65" rear projection. any thoughts?

White dots when Panasonic plasma TV turns on disappear after warm up.

White spots or dots showing up on your TV's screen could be the result of a bad or damaged processor or due to some overheating occurring the summer time or cold weather temperatures during the winter time. TVs can be affected by electricity surges or spikes as electricity supplies vary throughout the year. Or power outages and brown outs and black out can also cause spots to be on the TV screen too.

Ecently a small dull black dot has started appearing on my canon power shot A630's lcd screen but when I review the pics taken prior to when I noticed this problem, no dot appears.

1) this is indicative the lcd camera has been faulty.
2) you must replace it.
3) contact your company supplier, and get the parts, you can do it yourself, only need small screwdrivers and common sense.
God bless you

There is a red dot near the center of my Vizio tv screen, what is it?

if just a single tiny dot it is a bad or defective pixel in the front panel-usually there from first time the unit is powered up but from a distance may not be noticed--almost never gets worse or increases in size. Unless set is under warranty do not worry about is as a Panel(entire front screen unit) usually costs more to replace then the entire TV.

Small white dots have started to appear on our screen, first, on, then a couple days later 2 more, and today we have 6 small white dots on our screen. What is happening to cause this condition?

Your problem is that the DMD device is failing. You're in luck, though. Mitubishi has recently released a replacement DMD device in order to keep repair costs down for the consumer. Take your TV to an authorized Mitsubishi servicer for repairs.

I have a sony kdf50we655 TV. Over the last 12 months, the picture has been increasingly "pixelating" with royal blue dots. It started with the lower right corner of the screen fading from black...

This is not a LAMP issue, it is much more serious than that, you need to have it checked by a certified technician, it sounds like the image prossessor
