Everyone buys dual cassette decks and wonder why they don't last- it needs to see a Technician and if not that it will be landfill.

SOURCE: How can I fix a Fisher double tape deck that won't

If you are getting no power then you need first to check the internal fuse. It might have simply blown without anything having gone (if your lucky). Some models use a fusable resistor, often an odd looking resistor with PC markings as: FR (100) unlike normal ones that have R100.
Check to see if the power switch is broken, then look around at the power section on the PC board. Suspect anything on a heat sink, look for signs of burning and damage. If you have a muti-meter carefully check to see if anything is getting power.
Good luck!

Just measure the diameter of each belt (in mm) and then search with Google. Belts are generally not maker specfic.

Pioneer CT-W208r won't eject tape.

These dual cassette decks were throw away units in most cases. The belt inside and the grease in the cam mechanism is in bad shape and the deck can not cycle through the steps it need to so as to reach stop. Only stop mode will allow the door block to release. The tape can safely be extracted by a Technician. The deck need work. Dual cassette decks are not always worn the repair cost.

Pioneer CT-W350R Double Cassette Deck will not playback.

Might need belts and a good cleaning.Rotation sensor not detecting reel table rotation. It is doing what it is suppose to do when at the end of the tape but you tape may not be at the end.

Where can I buy Pioneer CT-W701R Stereo Double Cassette Tape Deck Riemen Belt

If the methods listed in the manual won't open the door, then the tape is not inserted properly. Insert a golf tee in one of the two small holes below the tape door and slightly adjust the position of the tape up, down, or sideways. Then press the eject button and it should open. This will only work if the belt is OK.

Pioneer Stereo double cassette deck Ct-W302R - is it repairable?

They might be repairable but usually at a cost that exceeds it value. Who wants to pay $150 to fix what was known as a throw away tape deck? Not many. It might even exceed $150 as they are complicated to repair bot being designed to be repaired.

Pioneer Cassette Deck Repair

Anything that eats tapes means the take-up torque is low of stopping due to bad belts or a bad Idler system or even cracked tires. The transport have to be taken out and those parts replaced and then it will work again.

I was following instructions for "Recording." On the next page were instructions for "Tape Copying," though the first page began with, "Load a tape for recording in Deck II." That sounded like what I wanted. Anyway, that was my error.

Problem with deck B on Pioneer CT-W205R

Better tape decks, like Pioneer, may use a different mechanism for record/play than FF & REW. So it sounds like a belt or mechanical link for the REC/PLAY has failed.
