Why does my unit does not turn on?

If you changed the fuse I assume the old one had blown. These do not typically blow for no reason and the most common fault is with the PSU. If it's under warranty get it repaired otherwise your local repair shop should e able to see if it is the PSU and fix it f so.

How do I connect a rack mount effects processor to a Peavey 8600D mixer?

  1. On the front panel you want to take a 1/4" cable and plug it into the "main" (output), and then connect it to the input of your fx unit (left is usually mono, if not it will be marked). Then take the output (corresponding to the input) of the fx unit and put it in the power amp in. The 8600D is NOT a stereo unit (this is why there is only one main output).

I have a gl 2400 how do I hook up one effects unit

Auxiliary output sockets (AUX 1-6) would usually be used for connecting to an FX unit input, with the signal levels sent to the FX unit governed by the AUX SEND pots from each input channel, setting the AUX MASTER at a level that will prevent peak signals from the various channels (sent to the FX unit) from clipping the AUX bus rails.
The output of your FX unit can be then be returned to stereo line input sockets (ST1-4).
For details see the GL2400 User Guide:
AUX OUT 1-6 (p.15),
AUX SENDS (p.17/18),
AUX MASTERS (p.19),
STEREO CHANNEL LINE IN (p.14).
If you require more precise EQ parameter control of FX return signals - and you have sufficient spare channels on the desk, connect to 2 x mono channel inputs:
one from left FX return, one from right FX return, with each of the console's input channels panned hard-left/hard-right (this assumes the FX unit has a stereo return).

I have a behringer eurorack ub1204fx hooked up to a bose L1. I can't seem to get the reverb to work

you have to set three gain controls to pass the FX into the mix. The FX send gain for each input channel, the FX fader which sends the FX mix to the effects unit, and finaly the gain that sends the FX output to the mix. Depending on which effect you choose, some are very subtle.

I'm looking for a solution how can i connect my

You can use the compressor in two ways. 1st you can go inline from the main outputs into the compressor out of the compressor to the rest of the world using normal cables. You may also insert the compressor into the main inserts using a cable that is tip, ring, sleeve 1/4", to seperate 1/4" tip sleeve mono plugs. any more questions give us a call at the store 215-736-8055

When i have my FX on and sending to main they make a horrible clicking (shorting out) sound. if I push the main mix button it shuts off the effects and the noise goes away...bad side...then I have no...

Check the 5 volts to the FX unit, If the voltage is low, the FX processor will keep reseting generating clicks, In a different product, the 5 volt filter cap was degraded and voltage dipped down to 4.5 volts causing resets.

Hi, I have a EURORACK ub1204fx and this is my problem: the effect does not work when I open fx return, there is much noise. Dpm5 broken?. How to get it? Thanks

This is confusing... the "FX return" is for an INPUT from an EXTERNAL effects unit... if you try to take output from there it will be nothing but noise as you are tying two inputs together with nothing driving them. Possibly you are misunderstanding the terms and use of these connections.
