How can i change a specific group to a different rington on my tgea20

The KX-TGEA20 handset comes with several Panasonic cordless phone models, including the KX-TGE24 systems. With the phone system in standby (no calls in or out, including intercom or calls to the paired cell phone), Press the right arrow button and press the right soft key (below the LCD screen) to open the Menu. Use the Up/Down arrows to navigate to Group. Press the soft key for Select. Use the Up/Down arrows to select a specific group and press the soft key for Select. Use the arrow keys to find the Group Ringer Tone option and press the soft key for Select. Use the Up/Down arrows to pick a ringer tone and press the soft key to Save the setting. Press Off to exit the menu system. Alternatively, press Menu as needed to return to the Group menu and choose a new group to edit that ringer tone setting.

The information on setting a ring tone per group is shown on page 25 of the manual available from the product page: https://shop.panasonic.com/cordless-corded-telephones/cordless-telephones/KX-TGE240B.html?t=reviews . The current link to the manual is http://help.panasonic.ca/viewing/ALL/KX-TGE210/OI/TGE210_PNQX6358YA/TGE210_PNQX6358YA.pdf .

I hope this helps.

(Note: the group ringer tone will only work when you have subscribed to the Caller ID feature with your telephone company.)

I have no idea what standby looks like; but I can't access the phonebook; I see the symbol, but nothing happens when i press it; I have successfully linked my cell and downloaded the phonebook from cell;...

A qualified person will have to remove the back (and circuit boards if necessary) to get to push buttons. Check for bits of plastic or something stuck between push button and circuit board. Check for corrosion on circuit board or missing /misaligned switch pieces.

Erase missed calls on panasonic dect 6.0

I found a way. Press the menu button on the phone. Then it should say "View Caller ID". Press the menu button again. You should see one of the missed calls you had listed. Now press the mute key. It should show a screen that says, "Erase? -Yes -No". On this screen, press the mute key a second time. It should now show "Erase" in larger font. Press the down arrow on the D-pad. It should now say "Erase all". Press the menu key, and if it worked, "No items selected" will show up on the phone.

Hope this works for you.

Need to delete phone entries in the Phonebook

Hi. Not sure if this will help but on my Panasonic cordless phone (different model to yours), there's a button labeled "mute/clear" which is used to clear text when entering text for phone entries. Well, if you scroll through you phone book to the the entry you want to delete and then rather than pressing "Edit", press "clear" and, if it's like mine, it will ask you if you want to erase the entry, and you press "yes". Hope it works for you.

How to add calling card 800# and PIN to expedite LD calling.

When storing a calling card access number and your PIN in the
phonebook as one phonebook item, press {PAUSE} to add pauses after the number and PIN as necessary. Or, if stored as separate entries, during a call, press MENU, press 1 to select “Phonebook”, and scroll up or down to find the entry and press Call. Repeat to dial other numbers.

Clear missed calls message

You can try this, it worked for us.
Press the key that says CID (Caller ID) to view every missed called telephone number. They disappeared, but we had to do each handset. Hope that works for you.

KX-TG1032

If you have Caller ID, the calls you have answered (or looked at on the screen) have a check mark by them. To erase missed calls, page through the Caller ID screens until you have viewed all the calls without a check mark. http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Phones-Fax/Telephones/Expandable-Systems/FAQs/model.KX-TG1033S.F#ts Hope this helps.
