I am looking for a set of install instructions for a Delta 2538LF-RB two handle lavatory centerset with pop-up

hot water turned on? Connected?

I have extracted the legend of figure 5B of the installation instruction here for your reference:

Remove handle from the faucet by loosening set screw (1) and pulling off handle. Once handle is removed, loosen set screw (2) from the bottom of the handle, remove accent (3), replace with new accent, tighten set screw (2), replace handle on faucet and tighten set screw (1).

if you get a mirror and look under the handle where it connects to the shaft there is a nut here. you need a 2 prong tool to undo it. sacrifice a fork and bend the ends to fit.

Replace the Delta cartridge inside the faucet.

If you notice right below the handle,there should be a small opening where ,by using an allen wrench you should be able to remove handle giving access to the stem retaining nut ......CAUTION... be sure cutoff valve is turned off(both hot and cold cutoffs.... under lavatory sink before removing..........unscrew retaining nut and remove stem.....hope that helps......

You may need to replace the stem unit assembly.

Buy the proper rebuild kit for your faucet and pull it apart and rebuild it you have a seal that has worn out.

check the angle stop under sink as sometimes the washer gets lodged in the orifice to stop..make sure water is off to house before removing handle to stop...check the hose...then the stem and seat to faucet itself.

If its a ceramic cartridge type then replacing cartridge is called for, HOWEVER sometimes cheaper to replace complete tap.

If not ceramic then turn mains off and replace the washer inside.
