If its not right next to where the AC power plugs in, or part of the power plug itself ( lil notch in cable recepticle that will allow it to slide out ) then it would have to be inside the mixer on the power pcb. ( the board the power cable connector is soldered to)

I have a Samson XP501i and I want to also hook up a monitor to it. I have a Samson POWERED monitor - 800 watts. Will that work? Or will it blow up my PA?

You can safely connect your powered monitor speaker to either the monitor output jacks or the tape output RCA jacks on your XP510. In addition, you may download the owner's manual here:

I need a transformer for my resolv 65a monitor

Are you an experienced tech? In most cases (unless there is a defect in manufacturing) transformers are not a common cause for failure. If it blows the fuse disconnect the secondaries and see if it still blows the fuse. If it does then the transformer is likely the cause, if the fuse doesn't blow then the problem is elsewhere. If you have 120vac at the primary and nothing(or very low) at the secondary(s) then the transformer could also be at fault. If you have done this already and narrowed it down to the transformer, sorry I cannot help. I used service Samson but no longer am able to get parts. Good luck!

How to fix a Samson XP40iw Speaker PA System

Have you checked the cables? If that doesn't fix it, you probably have a loose connection inside between the "mixer" unit and "amp" unit

What are some of the common reasons that my Samson S-amp headphone amplifier isn't working?

Most common reason probably would be incorrect or failed power adapter. It appears the unit requires a 18 VAC (not DC) adapter. Dead batteries if that is the power source would be the other cause to suspect.

Samson MDR8 blowing internal power supply fuses. Is there a wiring schematic of the power supply board available

Here is a troubleshooting hint:

Put an incandescent lamp in series with the hot side of the power cord. This acts as a resetable fuse while troubleshooting so you don't blow fuses.

Schematics are hard to come by, but power supplies are easy to trace the circuitry.

Check filter caps and the diodes and THEN look for hot (temp) IC's and transistors.
