Phone book not opening. Showing that phone book opening in progress and hang on it untill i push beck button.

To increase the call volume:
- Connect to free phone call, i.e. Customer Service etc
- During the call, push arrow button, some use Up button, but other use Right arrow. Push several time until volume bar is appear and you get the best volume.
- If the volume already full but still can't hear the voice, change your phone speaker.

To lock keypad :
Press Menu button (Center) then press Star (*) key, do it fast before 3 second. To unlock, do the same thing.

Yea absolutely you can re-install/update firmware yourself but you need something to do.,.,.,.

Secondly download
rm303file And install it in your PC..Disconnect all usb devices.
Now connect the phone with usb data cable without power on the phone to PC.Open Nokia pheonix...Click to "FILE" and select "open product" Choose5310 rm436.Next Click to "Flashing" and then open "FPS-8C FLASH " after opening this just click to "Close" button and again click to "Flashing" select "FIRMWARE UPDATE" NOW you can select the firmware version as well as the product code at the top right whch is showing a small browse window.Remember if the product code of the particular is not there just select the highest one.
After loading ..Click to "Dead phone" and again press to "REFURBISH"
Wait until a message shows that "PRESS POWER BUTTON" Press it and wait until the phone automatically switch on.

Try this first:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake (on top of the iphone) button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. The phone will turn off. Then, push and hold it again, until the phone comes back on.

If that doesn't work, try this:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. This will do a "hard reset" and should bring your iphone back to life!

same here. the phone has not had any major problems for 10 months. I was on the phone when there were two separate incoming calls. I hang up and call the first one. Hang up once again, open the phone book to make a new call. The phone got stuck in the phone book, backlight became very strong. It was like this for 5-10 seconds, until i took the battery out. Now it won't "boot". The backlight, notification light and the ******** indicate that the phone turns on, but it doesn't continue from there.

When you hang up from calls you are holding in the button for more than 2 seconds...This is way too long and it shuts off the headset. When you hang up, all you have to do is press the button quickly, until it clicks, and the call is disconnected. Anything more than a second or two will turn off the headset, as explained in the manual. Holding it in when a call comes in will make the phone "ignore" the incoming call. Again, all you need is a quick push of the button until it "clicks" will answer the call, the same as hanging it up. I hope this helps you!
