Bad smell from my samsung dmr77lhs dishwasher what to do?

Put about three or four drops of eucalypt oil into your dishwasher and put it on a wash cycle - you don't need to use the drying cycle. Then is should smell beautifully. It's probably just the newness of the machine with seals and parts all giving off the smell. If that doesn't work contact the dealer and get them to find out what it is. After all you paid good money for it.
Good Luck

SE error code on Samsung dishwasher

5E code. If your dishwasher has been running fine for awhile then throws a 5E code chances are it could be the pump or a blocked hose or filter but chances are its not. 1. Does the code come on after it has gone through the wash cycle and released the soap dispenser? or 2. Does the code show afer 1 or 10 minutes of running without the wash cycle completing, soap dispenser still closed? Number 1 is easy to check just diconnect the drain hose and run the hose into a bucket to see if the hose or filter is clogged or pump is working. These machines only use about 2 gallons of water and the pressure is very low its easy to do in a bucket. If number 2 occurs, its not a clogged hose or filter or pump issue the machine is not even cycling. If number 1 checks out ok you have water flow but shuts down and number 2 has occured, its your Case Level Sensor its the electronic solid state float, DD94-01006A its either sticking due to water impurities or its bad. Its actually pretty easy to trouble shoot or fix. You have two choices but the machine has to come out. The sensor is located behind a metal plate on the lower left side ofthe machine. You can;t miss it it looks like a float, has a black float inside a clear plastic housing and some wires going to it. You can pull it out and clean it (The float should go up and down with no sticking at all). Or just buy a new one $35.00ish and put in. Also check the inlet hose to the float make sure its clear and clean DD67-0057A. There is one catch to this that can cause lots of grief if ANY water at all comes out of the float while changing it. If any water gets in the bottom of the catch basin underneath, the very very sentive probes will detct it and throw a LE code and the washer will not work. that is not a big deal just need to pull the basin off and dry it out. The smallest amount of water can cause the sensors to react since its a protection system. Samsung dishwashers are very quite and wash extremely well but there technology and engineering sucks along with their warrenty and repair manuals there are no manuals for the home owner or much for the repair guy. That float will have problems again and again and again either its dirty or broken and will cause another 5E code situation.Side note; food grinders in a dishasher are stupid! All dishes places in a dishwasher should be rinsed! A domestic dishwasher should not be used as a disposal. It makes your house stink and tons of bad bacteriea will grow in places you do not want it to, not to mention they are not made to work like you would think.Best dishwasher with the least trouble, easy to fix, easy to dignose, easy to work on, good manuals, few problems, good warrenty, best built, quite running, washes great, very well engineered is BOSCH.Terry

What does samsung dishwasher error code se

SE (or 5E) on a Samsung DishWasher means Drain Error - Water not draining. Check the drain pump and drain hose for an obstruction; If that's okay, you will probably need to replace the ECS sensor. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/ronald_e6b9572cebe3ad27

SE display code on a Samsung Dishwasher

The SE (or actually 5E) error code means "drain error". Most often, this is caused by a blocked or clogged drain hose, or something hard getting inside the drain pump that is blocking or impeding the free operation of its impeller. If all that is okay, then you may have a bad ECS sensor. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/ronald_e6b9572cebe3ad27

What is the 5E code mean

A "5E" is a drain error. This is going to sound completely off base, but my advice is to CAREFULLY look at the assemblies that allow the raising and lowering of the upper rack (where you load glasses and shorter items). On the inside (closest to the center of the machine) there are 6 or 8 "clips" molding into the backs of the part of the assembly that hold the adjusters to the upper rack. Examine all of the clips, on both sides carefully. Compare the clips on the left assembly with the ones on the right assemby. Compare the upper clips to the middle clips to the bottom clips. Compare the front clips to the back clips. These clips are small, light gray (to match the color of the coating on the racks, and fail frequently. Sometimes folks have to stare at them a bit, and even use a flashlight to see that not all the clips are IDENTICAL. That is the key... ALL OF THE CLIPS NEED TO BE TIGHTLY GRABBING THE UPPER RACK. If any of these clips no longer completely wrap around the upper rack, that/those clips have failed, and the mising part(s) have fallen into the bottom of the machine, and prevent the pump motor from spinning. Any clips that are no longer sound, need to be removed, as they are about to add themselves to problem laying in the bottom of the unit. If you have one or more missing clips, with the help of the service manual, you can be up and running within an hour, and if you are carefull, and take your time, you will probably not need any parts other than some wire (cable) ties. It will take a phillips head screw driver and a wire cutter (to trim the cable ties (cable ties actually do the work of the clips).

Samsung get stuck at 40 minute cycle

I think the dishwasher gets stuck at the point where it is supposed to heat the water. If it can't heat the water (because the heating element isn't working, or because the heater relay inside the controller is bad), then it may stay there indefinately. In other dishwashers, the timer/controller will give up after 3 or 4 hours and finish the cycle. In others, the dishwasher will shut down and indicate an error condition. Does not latch

The door latch must make positive contact with the under-counter latch lock. The machines position is critical when shutting the door. Make certain the tab on the counter is making proper contact, not too much forward or backward, or bent up or down too much. The other adjustments are the Tilt backward and adjustment of the levelers at the corners of the washer (lower right and left sides). A front tilt could cause water leaking, so be careful when adjusting up or down.

I have a samsung dmt300

I would remove and examine the wash arms to see if any of the holes are plugged with food or mineral deposits. Clear any food with a paper clip. If you have mineral deposits, remove the deposits with Lime Away or CLR cleaner. Hope this helps you.

Hello

Your dishwasher has been designed to use a liquid rinse aid. Pouring a liquid rinse aid into the proper recepticle in your dishwasher when you add dish detergent greatly improves drying performance. You can further improve drying performance by selecting the Sanitize option, in addition to the other options you've selected, and increasing the water temperature. For Best Results, use Jet-Dry Turbo

Spots and film form in your dishwasher's rinse cycle, when detergents are already down the drain. FINISH® JET-DRY® Rinse Agent works in the rinse cycle, lowering the surface tension of water and causing it to sheet. Better rinsing results in less spots and film.

If these recommendations do not improve drying time, please contact Samsung Customer Care

I am recieving an SE

I'm getting the same message too. I turned it off for awhile and I had a technician come out and take a look. My drainage pipes are all clear (SE code can mean that drainage is not working properly). He suggested that I get a "Samsung" tech out to take a look at the circuit board/electrical issue. Want to know the crazy thing? This is my second dishwasher that Samsung replaced....all the same electrical issue.....and just last week someone called me to see if I wanted to buy an extended warranty on it. Hmmmm.....do they know that this a piece of junk? It was an expensive dishwasher too.....doesnt clean any better than my cheap model did and it sure has a lot more problems in this first year than the whole 5 years that I had my other dishwasher. Can you tell im disgruntled?
I would love to hear if there is a simple fix to this SE problem.

A. what turns own Chmild

Pressing and holding the Heated Dry key for 3+ seconds toggles the Control Lock (on if it is off, off when on). This is useful if you are using a delayed wash cycle (so no one turns it off) or to keep the dishwasher from being turned on when you clean the front panel.

I hope this helps.
