Hi Mark
This tent is a nightmare to get up, the poles are constantly splitting and you will need a football team if its windy. That said, the actual quality of the tent is brilliant if you can get it up in one piece. Email me if you pick this up.

I have a 1993 Coleman
No schematic available. But there is no actual need for one - the system is extremely simple: the lever turns a screw; this screw goes into a flange; all the 4 cables are attached to this flange; from the flange to the posts the cables are routed thru the chassis (on the rear ones there should also be a pulley , to reduce the friction on the chassis); at the base of each pillar support a pulley sends the cable to the top of the pillar support; there another pulley is sending it inside it to the bottom of the pillar, where it's attached. When you turn the lever it pulls on the flange, which pulls on the cables, which pulls on the bottom of the pillars raising them.
To replace the cables lift the top and remove it, just turn the lever all the way to the left to release the he tension in the cables then just take out the pillars disconnect the cables and pull them out.
I have a coleman Weathermaster
I have the same model number tent and have some broken connectors as well. I could not find any replacement parts any where local or online. I called Coleman's customer service number at 800-835-3278. The tent has been discontined but they had a few of the connectors "in the office" and shipped me three. Give them a call; they were extremely helpful. Coleman customer service is top notch in my book!
I have a Coleman 228F
It's likely that it was left away with fuel in it. This causes gel to form which blocks the fuel getting through. The blockage could be anywhere between the tank and the mantles. The order I would check in are;
- The feed tube assembly
- The generator
- The Burner
It's possible to get these parts from coleman or coleman suppliers. To find which needs replacing you'd need access to another similar lantern and try replacing one at a time. Otherwise it's going to be trial and error or just replace all.
There's a manual which shows the assembly and the order number for parts at
