The gun will fire staples, nails do not set.
Shoots staples fine but brads jam or bend. Check that the part called "guide bar", #35 on the parts diagram isn't getting stuck in the channel of part #30.The guide bar retracts into the channel when driving a staple and springs out of the channel to guide brads.The guide bar can get stuck in the channel if it's bent or gummed up. (Bent is likely the result of driving a brad into an obstruction.)The business end should look like this:

My Bostitch SB 2in1 nailer will only on occation
I ran into this problem many times. Don`t use the Bostitch brand nails. Use the generic or other name brand. You`ll notice the generic one`s heads are just a little bigger and the driver blade won`t run down the side of the nail!

Stapler losing air around trigger is this a o ring
The problem is most likely the trigger valve. P/N FA205BA1 any Bostitch dealer should be able to get it for you. Its a complete cartridge that slids into the gun frame, unfortunatly you can't just change the o-rings.
