If you can get BIOS to open, then check to see if it is booting from a CDROM first. If you have an OS disk, put this in an try to boot. Remove the Screws placed at the back of the Cabinet & Remove the hard disk connections. Unscrew the harddisk screws and remove it. After that place the new harddisk in place of old harddisk. After that place the connections of mohterboard as they were before..
