If it is still under warranty, return it.

try shutting the computer off. When you turn it on there is an icon on the lower right hand corner to the lekt of a speaker symbol, that is your router symbol index. Highlight your netwirk and click over it to connect. If you live close to other homes and apartments there are times the computer is confused as to which network to conwct to.

Had the same issue with the touch screen of HP, so I disabled it using device manager. Mine is 4th item in "Human Interface Devices". See the image below.

I got this Hp TX2110us when it came up which i hardly use (bought at Fry's). But one time while using it Before Christmas, it jusy shuts down completely. I tried removing the battery and jusy use the AC adapter (has voltage) but no light at all anywhere. The power slide switch won't do a thing. Please anyone know aboutthis??

Run a comprehensive spyware scan on the computer

First of all Back Up your all Hard disc data with UBUntu live cd.then fully format Hard disc and then reinstall your OS.your problem will be solved.

I'm not sure what Operating system you're using but you most likely need a software program/driver from HP.
I did some searching and saw some reports that the screen rotating is handled by the same software that makes your quick launch buttons work. If those aren't working either that's probably your problem.

After that expand the Driver - Keyboard, Mouse and Input devices. Click on the download button next to the HP Quick Launch title. The latest version should be on top.

Thank you for using fixya, with my knowledge this pavilion needs to have its operational system re-install. Before you do this do a hardware diagnosis to see if you have any hardware problems. Good luck. Let me know your outcome.

For that press function key "Fn" key .2 to 3 times .
Then press Fn + Multimidia like play button or mute button.
If you want t use play ,stop and other multimedia button you have to press Fn key + multimedia buttin you can find Fn button on keybord.

There were some minor issues with SP2 but non USB related as far as I can recall.

Continue to update as there are many more after SP2 and instead of doing the express update or auto update useinternet explorer and select updates from the tools tab.

When the web offers you the option of express or custom
select custom and check for any unlisted updates for hardware

do a search using google or Amazon

may need a new screen

maybe a hardware issue
