Hi Josh,

It sounds like you updated your iEDGE card to the iEDGE 1.4.3 firmware that Nintendo released for the DSi and DSi XL a while back. It's quite probable that your iEDGE isn't updated, and then you updated your console which will cause the iEDGE to not work.

I'd recommend getting a card with a team behind it that has a little more support. Names that come to mind include the Supercard DSTWO, Acekard 2i and Cyclo DS iEvolution, all of which are pretty top quality cards with frequent-ish firmware updates.

I personally shop at DSCardWorld.com but if you live outside of the U.S. then NDS-Gear.com is likely to be your best bet for an authorised retailer where you don't run the risk of picking up a knock-off fake card.

this means that your edge.dat is not on your microsd. Check it in your computer and put the edge.dat data.

Have you installed the latest firmware from the root of your memory stick? if not then go to www.edge-ds.cn and download the latest firmware, extract, then copy the files to the root of your memory stick, it should work

Since both of your boys have a DS, test the edge card with the other DS. If the card still doesn't work, the card is faulty and return it. If the card works, the problem lies with the DS.

Make sure all the cables are plugged in correctly yellow to yellow, red to red, white to white. Your TV may have you change the input to an auxillary channel, or even a TV/VCR button would change the input for video game consoles. If none of that works then i suggest getting an RF adapter for your system. That will turn your cable jack on your TV into your input for your console, then you just go to channel 3 or 4.
