Jbl radio A56840 loses station presets and no volume

Toyota vehicles have a fuse in the kick for the amp and sometimes there is located under the hood ... This is the switch turn on for the amp ... And 1 of the fuses is most likely the memory or constant power. B sure to check all fuses ... I do not have AllData pulled up . If the fuses are all good the amp or radio may be bad ... Or both ... Be sure to check all the fuses ... Many times I get clients that say allthe fuses are good and it is still the first thing I check ..Usually is a fuse ..Good Luck

Without remote wire how to connect to head unit

If your head unit does not have an output for remote amplifier turn on, you can also use the power antenna remote turn on and run that wire to your amp. Or you can run a small 14 gauge wire from your battery along with your amp power wire, just make sure you put an inline switch somewhere in your dash area. This will give you the option when to have your amp on. 14 gauge wire from battery, to switch, from switch to remote turn on at amplifier. Switch will turn on and off amp. Make sure you turn switch OFF whenever you turn car off or you WILL kill your battery.

Red and blue light flash on and off

ITS IN PROTECT MODE. EITHER ITS BLOWN OR THE SUB IS TRYING TO PULL TOO MUCH POWER. UNHOOK THE SUB AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS IF THE LIGHTS STILL BLINK THEN AMP IS BLOWN. IF THEY STOP BLINKING AND ONLY ONE STAYS ON THEN LOWER THE SETTINGS ON THE AMP AND TURN THE BASS AND VOLUME DOWN ON THE DECK TO LOWER THE AMOUNT OF POWER BEING PULLED FROM THE AMP.
