Sure - just use windows explorer and locate the documents you have in there. The files you created will have an identifier at the end such as " .doc " ".pdf" whatever.. Anyway, after finding them just transfer them over to a blank folder that you create making note of where you found them in the first place. Then uninstall the program, reinstall it and then put the saved files back into the same area you got them from originally. BTW, some programs when you uninstall them give you the option of not destroying files you created but with software I never take any chances!

Here's my solution: Don't waste your time and money on, use a program other than PrintMaster! PDF is universally accepted across formats/browsers/OS ...what kind of program would not export THE most commonly used format????

I'm not familiar with the conversion in Printmaster, but here is a simple solution:
You can use Cute pdf writer.
Go to www.cutepdf.com and download the free utility. The nice thing about this is it will work as a "printer" for anything on your computer you need to print--in pdf format.
In essence, it becomes a printer--you choose to print whatever it is you normally print and chose cutepdf as the printer and it prompts you for a file name and there you go!

Sounds like the only option for you to have the PM 17 is thru purchasing the PM 17 disc. Your data are all saved usually in MY DOCUMENTS folder. You might need to back it up first before reinstalling the PM 17.

It seems that the CD drive is not reading your PrintMaster CD. So please clean it with a soft dry cloth in plus manner. ie, up and down and right and left manner and not in circular fashion we mostly do. And if you want to reinstall it then you must first uninstall it from Control Panel - Add Remove Programs. Reboot and then reinstall the program. Please follow the link below to do it.
