See first the free space of your Pen Drive, to do this, go to MY COMPUTER then right click your PEN DRIVE and click properties, you will see how much is the available space. And also try to see the file size that you are copying and compare it to the free space of your Pen Drive. You can't copy file more than the capacity or the free space of your Pen Drive, that is why you come up with that error message.

So, I think that an 8 GB SD card should work.

Try another capacity and brand to make it work.

If it's a 4 GB card there is a chance your camera doesn't have SDHC support.

SD cards 4 GB and over are called SDHC cards and your phone may not have the ability to "talk" to the card.

In that case it has died, junk it.

SD vs SDHC is a question I get alot. First let me explain your issue. Unless your CARD READER is rated for SDHC chances are its an older model and cant handle the card, even with driver updates. You will need to check the manufacturers website of the device you are using as a reader to see if there are newer drivers. If its a laptop go to the manufacturers page and and be sure and choose Windows XP as your OS. Ok, now to the difference. SD cards are called solid state memory. The internal workings of each hasnt changed much except that the SD card used standard file formatting that was understandable in Windows XP and earlier operating systems. the SDHC (HC stands for High Capacity) uses the same architecture in teh card but changes the way data is stored and read that enables it to hold more data on same size device. (note architecture means design of card type not inside guts) Thus your system and Operating system may not be capable of addressing the new coding and file system changes on teh SDHC cards. Many older cameras (2008 and before) dont recognize SDHC cards either. Good news is they make an SD card (plain) in a 4 gig and you may be able to replace yours at the retailer with teh correct one needed (unless you bought via ebay or other method) Yours is a good question and is often asked, so dont feel bad in anyway. Just look at it this way.. you learned the lesson recently when the pricing between the two is about the same.. I learned the lesson 2 years ago when an SDHC cost about 80$ compared to 19 $ for a normal SD... SMILE!

1)Insert card into your phone but don’t access it through phone.
2)Run FExplorer and Open the path C:\system.
3)You will find a file called mmcstore ,rename the file mmcstore.txt
4)Copy that file(mmcstore.txt) to your pc and open that file in notepad.
5)You will find your password in that file.

make sure that your card reader is properly working(test with some other memory cards)
if it works,then follow the steps below
right click mycomputer
->manage'
-'>storage
->disk management
here you can find your memory card name
explore your memory card

just push or slide the little "switch" in one side of the card.

on the right side of the mmc reader, you should see a little white button...if the button is on lock the scroll it up or doen depending in where the lock sign is written...this is how to remove write prrotection

try reformatting first the pen drive, maybe its file system is corrupted. format it with fat or fat32 file system.

I Guess This problem is w.r.t Directories / Subdirectories and file path.. The Total Characters in the file path (Including File name) Should not exceed 256 Characters including Spaces...
ex:
assume some file in C:\ trying to copy to x:\ (your Memory Card)

File on c:\..\..\..\..\rhjurhi.jpg should not exceed 256 characters.. like x:\..\..\..\..\rhjurhi.jpg

I am Sorry to say that your pen drive is of no use now. The pen drive has been damaged and you can not use it. You may need to buy a new one. I ahve faced the similar problem recently and did a lot R & D but was not able to solve this as this issue mostly comes when a pen drive is damaged. But for surity you can check if there is any small button on your pen drive if it is try to switch and see if it works otherwise the pen drive is of no use.

Does your card reader support SDHC cards? These are cards greater than 2 gigabyte. If you laptop is a few years old it probably doesn't.

There is a chance it could be a software, but most likely you will need to buy a card reader.

You should be able to push it in and have it pop out a little. Gently pull it out. Does this work? If not, please let us know and we'll try to help.

Try this once.

control panel > add hardware> It will detect pendrive & new drive will show in my computer. If is failed then if this pendrive carries warranty give it to service center for replacement & get new on from them.

There will be 3 reasons of this problems.

If you not not connects this drive properly to system it will show drive property 00 bytes. If you has set up password for this drive then this problem will appeared OR drive is damaged & stopped working. If you trying to connect memory card then change your card reader.

If this flash drive in warranty period then go to authorized service center & give it for replacement.
