How do you clean this? I have one that seems to be having the same problem. In the inside of the machine the top is rusting as well as the brackets that hold the kettle. How do you clean this is this food safe the way it is? Can we repeat this was some type of Pete that would protect as well as be safe to eat popcorn?

They do not sell parts for that model popcorn popper.

Helman products do not have replacement parts available, anywhere. The only way you will find anything is to buy another broken model from craigslist or somewhere. Or possible bring the door into a small hardware store and see if they can try to build a replacement one.

Did you ever get it to work.. Its either 1 of a few things.. the heating element.. wiring or the thermostat.. youll have to remove the bolts that hold the kettle in place to see the wiring .. let me know.. i just repaired one that had the same problem..

try starting off with a spoon or so full of oil and a cup full of corn first with a pinch of salt,,at the end of the day its all down to how you like your popcorn,,,,after all your making it for your tasts and if no body likes it dont give them any more!!! smart huh?
and i hope you know that a cup full of popcorn makes a very big bag full when cooked there tiny seeds till they go pop!!!!!!!!! then there big un's

Well the best thing to do is go online and search Nostalgia popcorn maker kettle i'm not positive it will work but give it a shot and probably your warranty is up.Maybe go to a tool shop and ask about it i don't know. sorry.
