Patton 20" CVT Performance Pedestal Fan, Pivoting Head, 3-Speed, Black - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Fan will not turn on, i have verified voltage
yes - if you have power thru the switch and that power is also at the motor and the motor is not turning,, then the motor is bad.
but there is one more thing that I could think to check and that would be to make sure that you have power on the hot and the neutral wires -- as there could be a break in one of the lines. again check and observe voltage at the motor.

I have a Patton U2-1287 fan. The knob for the on/off-speed control switch is broken; I need to buy another knob.
To purchase a replacement knob for your Patton U2-1287 fan, you can try the following options:
- Manufacturer's website: Visit the official website of the manufacturer, Patton Products Company, and look for a "Replacement Parts" or "Accessories" section. They may offer replacement knobs or have a customer support contact you can reach out to for assistance.
- Online retailers: Check popular online retailers such as Amazon, eBay, or Walmart. Search for "Patton U2-1287 fan knob" or similar keywords to find compatible replacement knobs. Be sure to read the product descriptions and reviews to ensure it is the correct fit for your specific model.
- Local appliance repair shops: Visit local appliance repair shops or stores that specialize in HVAC or fan parts. They may carry replacement knobs or be able to order one for you.
- Contact customer support: Reach out to the manufacturer's customer support directly via phone or email. Explain the issue and provide them with the model number and any other relevant details. They may be able to assist you in finding a replacement knob or direct you to an authorized dealer.
When contacting suppliers or searching online, it's helpful to have the model number of your fan (Patton U2-1287) and any additional information about the knob size or design. This will ensure you find a compatible replacement that fits properly.
Alternatively, if you cannot find an exact replacement knob, you could consider using a universal fan knob that is compatible with your fan's control switch. Universal knobs are designed to fit a range of fan models and may offer a suitable solution.

I have a Patton electric fan and need to clean it.
I would remove the outer fan shroud and then the blade assembly. Lay it on a lot of news paper and spray grease lighting on it then use soft bristle brush to clean it wash it off in bath tub set outside to air dry then reassemble. Don't use on electric motor.

I have a u2-1287 that runs smooth after a few
most electric fans have steel rotor shafts with bronze bearings.they "call" them oilite bearings, susposedly because the bronze bushing (it is really a bronze bushing) but called a bearing, is oil impregnanted and susposed to be good for the life of the fan. that is only true if you expect the life of the fan to be ONLY 18 to 24 months which is the average time that the factory oil lasts.the oil dries up the longer the fan runs and the shaft makes the bronze bushing begin to heat up due to increased friction and eventually wear the round bronze bushinhg egg shaped. Try giving your bearings a good healthy squirt of sae 30 wieght oil from a zoom spout-- [pull out straw squeeze bottle refillable oiler.]I recommend oiling both the front and real fan motor bearings once a month. This is the most common cause of fan failure.Because I oil my fans bearings once a month,I still have fans that run from 1940,1950,1960 and 1970. The 1940 GE fan lasted 70 years and is still running strong. Some newer fans have chinese ball bearings , but the ball bearings also die prematurely from lack of needed oil.Sometimes, you can pry off the bearing race cover to get oil into the bearing.a good trick here is to use wd40 if you think you cant get sae 30 into the bearing.wd40 is a n extreemly light wieght oil that penetrates very welland gets into places where you think it wont get into .You can totally wet up a fan motor with eithersae 30 or wd 40 or both without worrying about the electricmotor being harmed by the oil. the oil,sae 30 or wd 40 wont hurt the motor. On badly rusted and nearly siezed fan motor bushings , or any electric motor as well, I use first wd40 for penetration and then sae 30 for good long duty lubricatin. You may have to keep squirting ioil in the motor for 1/2 hour and end up with a puddle of oil under the fan motor, but about 40 % of the time ,you can bring back to life what yo thought was a dead motor. Perserverance is required and faith that you can fix the motor. 40 % of the time you get sucess to one degree or another and 60 % of the time ,its kaput for good.I got all those fans i mentioned before because other people thought the bearing were seized and shot, and put the fans in the garbage pail where I rescued the fans from. the bearings were almost siezed but far from shot becaue i got oil in to the shafts and bearings and another 12 to 20 years of life from the fans. However,i do oil them monthly in fan season, which is winter time for me, since I use fans to blow the hot air off my wood stove,

Relay switch
- If the car is a Chrysler product and just cranks but won't fire, it could be the fusible link. On Ford and GM cars the car will not even crank if it is bad but on Chryslers it will just crank. I don't know about imports.
- Other possible sources of fuel related problems are a collapsed fuel line(depending on how old the car is) or plugged filter. Before you drive yourself nuts trying to locate the fuel shut off that the fellow described on the ranger.....it's been my experience that is only on ford models(you don't say anything about your make or yr)in the trunk in cars. Good luck

Remote not working at install Casa Turbina DC 60
Do you have a phone with a front facing selfie camera? Face the front of the remote at the camera and press a button. You should see a flash. If you don't, the batteries need changing or the remote has failed.

Faqe7077kw0 dryer beeps 3 times won't start replaced the door switch same problem. Hold in the select button and press start and it will run until I let up on the select button
- Check the Power Supply:
- Ensure that your dryer is receiving proper power. Use a multimeter to test the wall plug. You should have two poles giving 110-120 volts each and a ground. If only one side is hot and the other is not, you could have issues.
- Common Causes for Dryer Not Starting:
- Let's explore some common reasons why your dryer might not start:
- Thermal Fuse: The thermal fuse is a safety device that protects the dryer from overheating. If it's blown, the dryer won't start. Test it for continuity using a multimeter Check your exhaust vent for restrictions..
- Start Switch: If the dryer hums but doesn't start, the start switch might be faulty. Test it for continuity with a multimeter.
- Door Switch: The door switch activates when the dryer door is closed. Listen for a "click" when you start the dryer. If you don't hear it, test the door switch for continuity.
- Door Switch Solution:
- If the door switch isn't "clicking," it might be the culprit. Try this:
- Push the length of the switch from side to side (without removing it) to see if it clicks.
- If it clicks, it's likely not defective.
- Reassemble the dryer to see if it works.
Remember to
safely disconnect the power before attempting any repairs. If these steps don't resolve the issue, consider seeking professional assistance or further diagnostics
